The other educated youth stopped trying to pull her away, and the smile on Xu Jiangyang's face faded slightly.
Wang Fang's face turned pale. She retorted, "What nonsense are you spouting? I'm not after Comrade Xu Jiangyang, nor have I been accepting advances from other male educated youths! Qiu Chi, however, laughed aloud at her words. "What? Feeling so ashamed you've become angry and want to drag me down with you? Weren't you the one throwing accusations at me just a moment ago? And tell me, was anything I said not the truth?"
"If you really don't want to admit to those things, I have plenty more to share. I just wonder if you'd like me to say them in front of Educated Youth Xu."
Qiu Chi didn't know if Wang Fang's family background was the worst among all the educated youths, but it was certainly the worst among the girls in her group. At the same time, she was also the prettiest of them.

"I heard it, and I saw it."
Qiu Chi was telling the truth.
Why was she so sure she wasn't Erxi and felt she was so formidable?
It was because her hearing was exceptionally sharp. If she wanted to, she could hear everything being said throughout the entire village.
As for "seeing," it was more like perceiving with her consciousness. The entire village was practically within her awareness, and she could even extend it further.
However, there were already more than enough cringeworthy things happening in the village; she had no desire to see any more.
Xu Jiangyang, however, didn't quite believe her. It was too preposterous, after all. How could she possibly have stumbled upon every single thing?
Qiu Chi had no interest in explaining to him and simply said, "Is there anything else? If not, you should go."
Xu Jiangyang didn't really have any other business, but after what had just transpired, his curiosity was certainly piqued.
Regardless of how much truth there was to the business with Wang Fang, Qiu Chi clearly knew a lot. What he was curious about was how much she knew about him.
"Then do you know what I've been up to?"
Qiu Chi gave him a speechless look. "What do you want me to say? That you're a great catch, that tons of women are fawning over you, but you ignore them all just to come over here and fawn over me?"
