He couldn’t stop trembling.
The woman spoke, her voice both shrill and gentle, exuding an eerie quality. “Husband, why are you trembling? Are you cold? It’s alright. Once you come to keep me company, you won’t die. Come with me~”
Finally, the man could no longer control himself and screamed.
He scrambled backward, falling to the ground in a pathetic heap. “Aaaah, a ghost! Stay away, don’t come near me…”
As the woman advanced step by step, the man scooted backward on the ground.
Just a moment before the woman was about to kill the man, members of the Lou family arrived.
Qiu Chi was just getting to the good part of the show, and the scumbag wasn’t even dead yet. Displeased by the Lou family’s interruption, she set up a bewildering formation and trapped them inside.

After speaking, the woman’s figure began to dissipate, and Yu Niang collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
Qiu Chi dispelled the bewildering formation. When the members of the Lou family emerged, they saw the dead man and the unconscious Yu Niang.
The leader was furious. “Fuck, who the hell is messing with us? That fierce ghost didn’t have the ability to trap us. If I ever find out who it was, I’ll destroy them and scatter their soul to the winds!”
Qiu Chi said, “Heh heh, you’re suited to staying in the bewildering formation for a few more days.”
And so, having just emerged from the bewildering formation, they found themselves back inside it.
They wouldn’t be getting out for at least a few days. As for whether they would starve to death inside? She had no idea.

She went into the wild, caught a rabbit, and then went to find Lou Ye.
