BBQT - Chapter 141

Chapter 141

In the end, Qiu Chi didn't get to finish her meal. Boyis was just too repulsive, and she couldn't resist dragging him outside to beat him up.

Just as she finished and was flexing her wrists, a werewolf approached, drawn by the scent of a vampire.

Although these noble vampires looked no different from ordinary people, werewolves could always pick them out of a crowd with pinpoint accuracy.

Perhaps hate really was more powerful than love.

Unfortunately, even though Boyis had been beaten by Qiu Chi to within an inch of his life and was now rapidly recovering, he wasn't someone a werewolf could kill.

Boyis, who had initially intended to kill the werewolf on the spot, paused for a moment before choosing to teleport away.

The werewolf tried to give chase.

Qiu Chi offered a piece of well-intentioned advice. "Why insist on getting yourself killed? You can't beat him."

Who would have thought the werewolf would turn and start accusing her? "If you're so powerful, why didn't you kill him? Don't you know he's a vampire? Do you know how many people he's killed? As a human, shouldn't you be avenging your fallen compatriots? Why didn't you kill him!"

Qiu Chi was rendered speechless. "What I do is none of your damn business. Get lost."

She cursed herself for opening her mouth. Why the hell had she bothered to warn him? She should have just let him die.

Unfortunately, this werewolf was a complete lunatic.

When Qiu Chi tried to leave, he charged at her recklessly, intending to strike.

Without so much as a frown, Qiu Chi sent him flying with a single kick.

"If you've got a screw loose, go get it fixed. Try that again, and I'll kill you."

With that, Qiu Chi left.

Boyis hadn't gone far; he had only been putting on an act for Qiu Chi.

Now that she was gone, he returned.

Despite his injuries, he still wanted to kill the werewolf.

Compared to Boyis, the werewolf's injuries were minor.

Seeing Boyis return, his eyes glinted fiercely. "You dare come back? You will surely die today."

Boyis chuckled. "So many years have passed, and you werewolves are still as reckless as ever."

The werewolf wasted no more words and charged straight at him.

When Boyis retaliated, it was with the clear intention of killing him.

Even injured, he was far more powerful than this werewolf.

Qiu Chi actually saw this unfold from her hotel room, but she had no intention of getting involved.

The werewolf was determined to get himself killed. What could she do?

Qiu Chi stayed at the hotel for a few days, and Boyis, refusing to give up, continued to hover around her.

The hotel had now become famous because of Boyis. Droves of people came every day, hoping for a chance encounter with him.

Qiu Chi was rather speechless about the whole situation.

In the end, Qiu Chi decided to go to Boyis's castle. "Where do you live? Lead the way."

Boyis was stunned for a moment, then smiled. "Does this mean you've agreed to come back with me?"

Qiu Chi shot him a look, shattering his fantasy. "Agreeing to go with you doesn't mean I'm agreeing to let you drink my blood."

Boyis didn't take her words seriously. "You are most welcome."

"Cut the crap and lead the way."

Boyis paid no mind to her impatient tone, extending a hand. "Give me your hand. I'll take you there; it will be much faster."

Qiu Chi responded with a punch.

"Did you not understand when I told you to lead the way? Still trying to take advantage of me? Are you asking for another beating?"

A dark glint flashed in Boyis's eyes, but his expression and tone remained gentle. "I just thought it would be faster if I took you. If you'd rather not, then it's fine for us to take our time."

"So, can you lead the way now?"

"Of course."

Although he had been completely overpowered by Qiu Chi's brute force, Boyis still refused to believe she was truly that strong.

He remained convinced it was only because he had just awakened. Once they reached his castle, she would be at his mercy.

He could endure this temporary humiliation; he considered himself adaptable. After all, in all his long life, he had never smelled such a sweet and delectable aroma.

He didn't mind suffering a little indignity now for the sake of properly savoring that fresh blood later.

Boyis led the way, the look in his downcast eyes a stark contrast to his gentle expression.

Unfortunately, in the face of absolute power, no amount of scheming was of any use.
